Highlights of the No Kings Protest Part 2: Germany
FRANKFURT- An average of 250-300 participants were on hand to protest the Trump regime in each of the venues in Germany. Six German venues and Strassbourg hosted the event where people took advantage of beautiful but hot summer weather and went to the streets to show that there were no tolerance towards Trump’s policies. At present, despite pleas from Europe to work together on many pressing issues, Trump and his administration have been trying to move away from the Trans-Atlantic relations, which would put its 80+ years of work in jeopardy. Of there places where the demos took place- Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Heidelberg, Freiburg im Breisgau and Hamburg, here are some highlights of the events from Frankfurt, Munich and Hamburg, just to show you the magnitude of the events:

This is just a fraction of what we saw here in Germany, and in the next installment, we’ll look at the highlights from Europe and beyond. Many of us, were not physically present due to commitments, but when there is a window of opportunity to do one’s part online, then one should give it a try. After all, the pen and the brain are mightier than the tanks. Therefore, a salut to Democrats Abroad as well as others who have been more than willing to take some shots of the events and allowed usage here.
What will happen next remains open, but as soon as the next No Trump events take place, you will be the first to know. The more voices the better. We saw that this past weekend with 12.5 million Americans (or 3.7%) taking to the streets, according to sources. We had plenty more braving the heat here in Germany. The next ones will be even more. After all, the more help, the better. I’m reminded of this diagram, to close this gallery:
